Program Description
Students will be introduced to the principles of social innovation and have the opportunity to learn from the successes, as well as failures, of young entrepreneurs through our Summer SIEB program. They will also be guided through exercises in creativity and design thinking to come up with plans for launching their own school and/or citywide ventures. Each Bootcamp will culminate in a pitch competition where the top teams will be matched with award winning mentors. While all students will retain access to Aspir8 resources afterwards, the winning teams will receive additional support to implement their ideas.
All students who attend will receive a certificate of completion, T-shirt and Ideas Journal.

Our mission at Aspir8 is to bring social innovation and entrepreneurship education into the mainstream.
Our signature SIEB program’s curriculum has been developed in consultation with leading social innovation educators and design thinking practitioners from Stanford University.
We believe in hands-on learning through doing, and incorporate activities pioneered by industry leaders such as the Transformative Action Institute and Jane Goodall’s Roots and Shoots program.
“It’s a great opportunity to boost your confidence, make friends, be creative and learn about business if you are taking that pathway in the future.Jivika is easy to talk to, fun to be with and encourages me to be confident and speak out.”
Suwaati R.
“Aspir8 is an amazing opportunity for students to learn about entrepreneurship – what it really is – and how it is connected to social innovation.
Over these past 5 days, I’ve learnt so much more than I had expected about prototyping, iterating and crowd funding. It’s a really interesting boot camp, and if you don’t go for it you don’t know what you’re missing out on!!”
Sara M.
“At first,I was very skeptical about attending because it’s the winter break and I would have to wake up early and all. However, the more I tried to engage myself, the more interesting and enticing I found this to be! Not only did I learn so much about social enterprise, but also made so many great friends which
I continue to remain in contact with!”
Hassaan K.
“Jivika really helped make the boot camp engaging and helped me think differently. This boot camp is really worth the time you will be spending. It has helped me think more creatively when facing business problems. Most importantly it helps you put in practice what you learn in business class therefore has definitely left an impact on what I want to do in the future.”
Saher K
As a social enterprise, Asipr8 is committed to doing business a little differently.
That’s why we have pledged to run the very same program for as many underprivileged children as students who sign up for this Bootcamp by June 1st, through a special
partnership with Teach For India.
Still on the fence? Here are three additional reasons why YOU should absolutely attend this Bootcamp:
- Learn about alternative career paths and figure out how to design the life you want.
- Make friends and have fun while earning between 10-20 Service hours.
- Programs like this look GREAT on college apps – and can make or break your acceptance if you’re a deferred or waitlist candidate.
